Alien Prison
I made this scene based on a particular movie (take a wild guess….).
All rendered with traditional spot lights and depth maps all with the Maya Software renderer. I didn’t use any GI, mental ray or any ray-tracing stuff this time just as a challenge.
I think I’ll go watch the movie again, it’s been years now!

I’m quite surprised because it’s actually one of the only times Maya’s viewport has almost resembled the final render! I really wish mental ray had this much Open GL/interactive feedback as the native Maya Software renderer does. It would make the whole lighting and texturing workflow a lot more efficient in Maya.
well, i really like what u have done with my softwear,it’s very nice render.just a suggestion to improve , u need some bounce light inside the dark place e.g point light with 0.115 intensity to have a better image.also, a big fag with some glow on it .
