Center To World

This is a really neat script that will center an object to the world origin regardless of whether transforms are frozen or not. Very useful, especially if you’re constantly importing meshes from other programs.

transform_before

Before - Does not matter if the transforms are frozen

transform_after

After - Object moves to center of the world (providing the pivot is in the center of the object).

MEL

Just put the MEL file into your script directory. To run the script within Maya, use the command: source transformToWorldCentre;
